Salt Lake Temple

We had the opportunity of going to the Salt Lake Temple for the first time for a session. We have been talking about going for a long time and we just never make the time to go down there and do a session. The temple is so amazing. It’s so nice just to go and feel the spirit. I just love to go and forget about the world outside. It is such a stress reliever. We had a lot of fun with Stacie and Justin. We went to dinner after at Red Robin. We met Nate and Kourt. It was fun to just hang out and chat. We haven’t spent time with friends in a while and it was nice to have a change of pace. Thanks Stacie for inviting us. We should do it again soon.

Jazz and more!!

Its been a little while since our last post. We have been busy with work and Tyler has been busy with school as well. He only has one more class after this semester. I'm so excited. We went to the Jazz game Saturday with Tyson, Capri, Logan, and Jenna. It was fun going on a date and sit on the second row from the top. We like Jazz games maybe next time they will win, but we saw some awesome dunks by Millsap (one of Tyler's favorite players)and Lebron James.

Other fun news Alison did have her cute big baby on Dec 19. He weighed 9lbs 3oz. Breckston just loves to hold him. He is so cute with him. He really needs a brother or sister. Not yet though. We have been working on our house more. Maybe we'll get it done so we can sell it. Does anyone want a house? We want to sell so we can save up money for a new house in a year or so. Who knows what will happen. I guess we will just have to see. Well hope all is good for everyone!!

My wife's a sweet heart

Tracy decided to get me a new gun for Christmas. I wanted another one before any more restrictions came in place with the new presidency. She had my uncle and everyone else lie to me and told me that i wouldn't get it until mid January. Well somehow on Christmas eve she snuck it under the tree after we had taken care of all of Breckston's presents. He is sure spoiled. Well here is the picture of my new gun.

Breckston has decided that he really likes to drive the truck. The way that the car seat is situated and the fact that the truck only has the two doors, it is a pain to get him in the back. When we go places Tracy will get in and then i put Breckston on the seat. The first time we did that he got all excited and grabbed the stearing wheel and jumped up and down. It is even better when i start the truck for him. He goes bananas making car noises and bouncing all over as well as turning the stearing wheel just a little. He is such a cute little stinker. We couldn't have asked for a better little boy.

What's New In The Christensen House!

It’s been a while since I wrote anything so I thought I’d let you know what is new. Breckston is now walking everywhere. It is so weird to think your baby can walk. It’s kind of nice because then I don’t have to pick him up as much. He has grown so much. He is also getting ready to get 2 more teeth. That will be a whopping 4 teeth at 13 months. He is super slow. I guess he just likes to take his time. I’m glad because he thinks it’s hilarious to bite my stomach when he’s looking for my belly button. We just have lots of fun together.

We also made Gingerbread houses with the Christensen’s. That is always a fun Tradition. I forgot the camera as usual. We missed the Hall Christmas party because they were both on the same night. Maybe next year we can go to that. It’s hard during the holidays. We have such a huge family, and we want to spend time with all of them.

Ali Pali is having her baby today. I’m just as excited for this nephew as I am for all of the rest. I love having such a big family with lots of nephews and soon to be niece around the same age. They are so much fun when they play together.

Well that’s about it for now. We are excited for Christmas. We want to wish our family and friends a Happy and Safe Holiday.

Date Night

Well we went down to Salt Lake for a little date night. We had dropped Breckston off so that we could go by ourselves this time. We went down to Ruth's Chris for dinner. Man was it good. Here are some pictures of it. We didn't take our camera with us unfortunately so these are off of their site.

We then went to Temple square to look at the lights. It was nice to get away and enjoy some time together.

Happy 1st Birthday Breckston!

Breckston is going to be 1! We had a fun little party for him last night since Tyler has school on his birthday. It was a sesame street theme. I even made his cake. It turned out better then I thought it was going to. Breckston didn’t want to open his presents. All he wanted was Granddad Marc. He played with a car he got after he smothered his face with frosting and cake. He sure has a lot of family that loves and spoils him.
It’s crazy that he’s already 1. It has definitely been an adventure. Breckston is so smart. He says a lot of words. My favorite is HOT. He says Bert, Ernie, Elmo, Big Bird, Dad, Mom, hi, cheese, belly button and many more. He also remembers everything. He can’t walk yet. He walks if he is holding someone’s hand. He can stand on his own and take a few steps, but he gets a little scared or starts laughing because he gets so excited. I don’t think it will be to long before
I’ll be pulling my hair out chasing after him.

I think that we won’t have any issues with Breckston not wanting to eat. He loves food!! (Banana’s, spaghetti, cake, cookies, meat, chips and salsa, cheese, all other fruits). I love to watch him eat spaghetti. We always have to spray him off after he gets done.
I just wanted to let everyone know that we are grateful for everything they have done for our family and supporting us. Breckston is such a blessing to us and gives us something new to look forward to everyday. I can’t even tell you how much fun we have with the little stinker. He is going to be just like his father. I’m in trouble!

Thanks to all those who came to his party and for the gifts.

Halloween!!

Breckston was Tigger for Halloween. He was so dang cute. We took him trick-or-treating with Shanna and Bryce and their kids. We had lots of fun and Breckston got a bucket of treats. He really likes chocolate.
